The process

Step 1 -  Booking

Choose a package, pick a date, share any wishes — we confirm usually very fast and match you with a photographer.

Step 2 -  Planning

After confirmation, we’ll finalize details, choose locations, share a moodboard, and confirm the meeting point.

Step 3 - Photoshoot

Your photographer meets you at the spot, helps you with natural posing and stays flexible for last-minute wishes.

Step 4 -  Delivery

After the shoot, choose favorites from an online gallery; we professionally edit and deliver them in 1–2 weeks.

  • Usually, you’ll receive a pre-selected gallery within about 1–2 weeks. It contains more photos than your package includes, so you can choose your favorites, which we will then professionally edit and send to you in full resolution.

  • It’s best to wear something you feel comfortable in and that matches your style—this helps you look authentic on camera. Avoid bright patterns, large logos, or overly bold colors that might distract from your face. Busy prints or highly reflective fabrics can also be tricky to photograph.

  • The packages include up to 2 people. You can add more people during the booking process. Additional participants increase the price because more people mean longer shooting time and more photos to edit for each person.

  • No, not at all! We make sure you feel comfortable and guide you during the shoot so your photos look natural and genuine.

  • Yes, absolutely! Just send us a message at hi@portraitsvienna.at, and we’ll prepare a gift voucher for you.

  • We accept major credit cards, apple and google pay at the time of booking. Alternatively, payment can also be made in cash directly to the photographer. Even when paying in cash, credit card details are required to guarantee the booking. The card will only be charged in the event of a cancellation fee; otherwise, payment (if cash is chosen) is made on-site.

  • We mostly work with natural light, so most shoots happen outdoors. Studio sessions are only offered with specific studio packages. If you like, we can also happily include suitable indoor locations like cafés or similar spots.
